Margaret Atwood talks oil: It’s not climate change, it’s everything change

‘Can’t live with it, can’t — right at this moment — live without it.’

This article by Margaret Atwood illustrates two extreme futures for a humanity reliant on the magical black gold fossil fuel: oil! Some are more reliant on it than others. It is definitely worth a read, and it has some insightful suggestions as to what a less oil-reliant future might look like.
